The Otumoetai Golf Club was established in 1956. The club is situated less than 3.5km from the Tauranga city center on park like grounds. The fairways are mostly flat and are easily walked, the course is 9 holes with some different tee positions for those playing 18 holes.
This is a members golf course, however we welcome visiting green fee players at times when there is no Club Members competition being played.

Green fees are always payable before play. If the Shop is closed, please pay online or pay in the Bar if its open.
We open at 8.00 am and closing times depend on the season, : Summer 7pm and Winter 5 pm.

CLUB RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT
Members, their guests, and green fee visitors when using the Club facilities are required to act in a responsible and decent manner in accordance with rules and directives as determined by Otumoetai Golf Club.
PLAYING TIMES
- Pay green fees at the Shop before proceeding to the tee block.
- Tee off is always off the 1st tee. Do not tee off the 5th tee unless permission is granted by the Club Manager or Course Marshall.
- If the Shop is closed, please pay your green fees at the Bar (if open), or online (details on Shop window) or in the Honesty Box at the Shop
DRESS CODE
We request a reasonable / suitable golf attire on the course:
NOT ALLOWED:
- wearing of singlets, torn/ripped denims, reflective work gear
- golf shoes with metal spikes as they tear up the course.
- work boots, street shoes, sandals, jandals, crocs, gum boots, etc
- barefoot is not allowed on the course. It’s against our Health and Safety regulations (Chemicals are sprayed on the course, which can be hazardous to direct contact with your skin.
- sharing of golf bags and clubs.
ALCOHOL
- The Golf Club carries a Liquor License, therefore alcohol brought onto the premises is strictly prohibited.
- The Clubhouse has a bar and the Shop has a bar fridge which is available during opening hours
- Management and Staff have the right to ask any patrons who are intoxicated or are badly behaved to leave the premises.
- Alcohol bought from the Club is only allowed to be consumed in the Clubhouse and at the outside seating area.
- Alcohol is not permitted on the golf course.during play.
COURSE
- If you are a beginner golfer, kindly give way to other players to avoid slow play. Course Marshalls will ask you to leave or let other players through if you are causing slow play.
- Repair pitch marks, rake bunkers, and replace divots.
- Please adhere to the Greenkeeper and staff when they are mowing or doing course maintenance.
